Анотация: The discussions of disease syndromes have been grouped, as much as possible, on the basis of their relationship to a specific etiology. The syndromes without well-defined etiologies have been organized on the basis of their effect on the various physiologic functions. Because of their relative importance in equine practice, separte chapter groupings have been made for the discussions relating to nutrition, lameness, and reproduction. (J. F. Bone, E. J. Catcott)
