Анотация: The main aim of these studies was to investigate if and how the food inflation affected the consumers in the developing part of the globe. An increase in food prices can affect consumers such that during inflation they have to spend more money for the same basket of products than when prices are stable, holding real income constant. Naturally, if income is derived from sales of agricultural commodities, real income may increase keeping expenditures constant. (Introduction)
